This Privacy Policy describes how FitEdit ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of information:

a. Personal Data You Provide

• Account Information: Email address, name, and password (securely hashed)
• Profile Data: Country, city, and language preferences
• Wardrobe Content: Clothing and outfit details (including uploaded images)
• Preferences: Tags and categories associated with your wardrobe
• Subscription Data: Purchase history, billing information, and subscription tier

b. Device and Usage Data

• Device type, operating system, app version
• In-app behavior (e.g., feature usage) for performance monitoring

c. Location Data

With your permission, we collect your location to provide personalized outfit suggestions based on weather conditions.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Account Management: Create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity
• Core Features: Suggest clothing combinations and outfits using AI
• Personalization: Match outfits to current weather conditions based on your location
• Storage: Store and retrieve wardrobe images securely
• Subscriptions: Process payments, manage subscription status, and provide premium features
• Communications: Send service-related notifications and subscription updates
• Improvement: Improve and personalize your experience within the App

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

To deliver core functionality, FitEdit integrates with the following third-party services:

a. OpenAI (ChatGPT)

Used to generate outfit and clothing suggestions based on your wardrobe.

d. Keycloak (Authentication)

Used for secure user authentication and account management.
Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely. We do not have access to your plaintext password.

e. Payment Processing

Apple In-App Purchase (iOS App): For subscription payments within the iOS mobile application.

Note: We do not store your full credit card information. Payment data is processed securely by the payment provider.

Each third-party provider may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the features of the App or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Update: Modify your profile information in the app settings
• Delete: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Revoke Permissions: Disable location access through your device settings
• Cancel Subscription: Cancel your paid subscription at any time (access continues until end of billing period)

Account Deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data by:

1. In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
2. Email: Contact us at altios.software@gmail.com with subject "Account Deletion Request"

What Gets Deleted:

• Your account and profile information
• All wardrobe items and uploaded images
• Outfit suggestions and history
• Subscription information (after completion of current billing period)

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deletion typically completes within 30 days. Some data may be retained for legal or accounting purposes (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption and secure cloud storage, to protect your data.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Use the App at your own discretion.

7. Children's Privacy

FitEdit is not intended for use by children under the age of 9. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app or on this page with a revised effective date.
